It’s vote time again.
A bit of a change this week – something I want to test out.
Normally the weekly guides are high level, foundational guides that ca be applied to any business.
I’m going to do a few guides on specific business models.
So for example, instead of “how to start a service business” it would be “how to start a social media marketing service business”. More specific, more concrete.
The reason for this is that foundational content is great but it requires you to know what your business is already. Some people aren’t there yet and just need any business! So I’m going to drill down to specific businesses.
The two options for next week’s topic are:
1. Social media marketing agency
First up is a social media marketing agency or SMMA. In this business you create social media assets like text posts, images and videos for clients.
Clients will generally be businesses who want to delegate their social media content. Your job is working out what they need and creating it for them.
If chosen I’ll cover choosing what niche to focus on, getting clients, completing the work and scaling the business.
You used to need to be design or copywriting orientated with this sort of business but this is less important now with the powerful AI tools at our disposal.
2. Web design agency business
Second option is a web design agency.
I’ll show you how to find clients who need a new website – whether they have one already or not. I’ll show you how to prospect and find these clients and reach out to them.
We’ll them use modern AI tools to create websites for clients without us needing to know any HTML, CSS or any of that stuff. Instead we’ll whip up websites in no time with AI tools.
